sometimes you gotta dig into the dirt.  and out of the dirt you find a hovel of decrepit fun.  the fun that i’m playin with tonight is a brisbane band called xnobbqx.   tap straight into the filament of previous amazing releases from tom lax’s label siltbreeze comes an unearthed cdr from 04 dubbed “sunshine of your love.”  what the shit are these dudes on?  ok, please remove yourself from the current influx of boring noise records that have been floodin’ the market as of late (and i mean market.  dudes gotta pay rent, and shit, i’m holdin onto a couple juelz from early AM tapes, but man, every sis and her mother has been releasin’ drone filth lately.)  already a lot of shit has been spread around about these two dudes becomin’ another aussie wonderlove.  fuck ‘em.  the piss and vinegar that they bring is straight up second to none.  lay your head down on their amps and get bothered.  straight up gutter punk love.  it’s been awhile since shit’s been this free.  structure with a finger in the air to melody and harmony.  they mean business.  come hither and hear hatred. slitbreeze.com
